Information We Collect
We collect your email address, hashed IP address for security, and conversation data (messages you send and receive through the butler). You may also optionally provide profile preferences (display name, location, interests, shopping style, dietary needs) to personalize your experience.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To authenticate your account
- To provide conversation context for AI responses
- To personalize AI responses based on your stated preferences (if provided)
- To adapt responses based on your conversation context — this uses only data already in your chat session and creates no persistent behavioral profile
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
Data Storage & Retention
Your data is stored on secure servers. Conversations are stored to maintain context across sessions. You can delete your conversation history at any time. Personalization preferences are stored until you clear them or delete your account — no behavioral profiles are built from your conversations.
Third-Party Services
Botlor integrates with Anthropic (Claude AI) for generating responses. Your messages and any preferences you provide are sent to Anthropic's API for response generation only. Botlor also connects to free public services (Open-Meteo for weather, frankfurter.app for currency, Wikipedia, Google Books) on your behalf.
Cross-Service Data Sharing (Alexiuz AS)
Botlor connects to affiliated services operated by Alexiuz AS:
- Naited (naited.com) — When you save notes, your email and note content are sent to Naited. An account is created on Naited using your email on first use. You can claim this account by registering on naited.com.
- Generor (generor.com) — When you request content generation, your prompt is sent to Generor for processing.
- Statility (statility.com) — When you request financial data or charts, queries are sent to Statility. No personal data is shared.
- Darobodo (darobodo.com) — When you request life coaching, queries are sent to Darobodo.
All affiliated services are operated by Alexiuz AS (Gamlegrensa 8A, 3747 Skien, Norway) under compatible privacy policies. Cross-service accounts are only created when you first use the relevant feature. Your data is not sold or shared with unaffiliated third parties.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- View, modify, or delete your personalization preferences at any time from Settings
- Delete your conversation history
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data — including any shadow accounts created on affiliated Alexiuz AS services — by contacting us
- Claim and manage accounts created on your behalf on affiliated services (e.g., naited.com)
